Das Harnack-Haus und das dazu gehörige Gästehaus in der Ihnestraße befinden sich in Berlin-Dahlem, nahe der Clayallee und sind nur 50 Meter voneinander entfernt. Beide Häuser bieten ausreichend Parkplätze bei Anreise mit dem eigenen PKW.

Harnack House and its accompanying guest house are located on Ihnestrasse, close to Clayallee, in the Dahlem district of Berlin. The two buildings are just 50 meters apart and offer ample parking spaces for visitors arriving by car.

Vom Flughafen BER (30 km)
...mit dem Bus FEX Richtung S+U Berlin Hauptbahnhof bis zum Ostkreuz. Dort umsteigen in die Ringbahn S41 bis Heidelberger Platz. Dann wechseln in U3 Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Freie Universität (Thielplatz), verlassen Sie dann den Bahnhof in Fahrtrichtung durch den linken Ausgang. Das Harnack-Haus befindet sich rechts in ca. 100 m Entfernung.

Vom Flughafen Berlin Schönefeld (25 km)
...mit dem Bus 171 bis zum U-Bahnhof Rudow. Dort umsteigen in U7 Richtung Rathaus Spandau bis zum Fehrbelliner Platz. Dann wechseln in U3 Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Freie Universität (Thielplatz), verlassen Sie dann den Bahnhof in Fahrtrichtung durch den linken Ausgang. Das Harnack-Haus befindet sich rechts in ca. 100 m Entfernung.

Vom Hauptbahnhof (15 km)
...mit S7 Richtung Potsdam Hauptbahnhof bis zum Zoologischen Garten. Dort umsteigen in U9 Richtung Rathaus Steglitz bis Spichernstraße. Wechseln Sie in U3 Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Freie Universität (Thielplatz), verlassen Sie dann den Bahnhof in Fahrtrichtung durch den linken Ausgang. Das Harnack-Haus befindet sich rechts in ca. 100 m Entfernung.

Vom Bahnhof Südkreuz (9 km)
... mit S41 (Ringbahn) bis zum Heidelberger Platz. Dort umsteigen in U3 Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Freie Universität (Thielplatz), verlassen Sie dann den Bahnhof in Fahrtrichtung durch den linken Ausgang. Das Harnack-Haus befindet sich rechts in ca. 100 m Entfernung.

Vom Bahnhof Spandau (17 km)
...mit U7 Richtung Rudow bis zum Fehrbelliner Platz. Dort umsteigen in U3 Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Freie Universität (Thielplatz), verlassen Sie dann den Bahnhof in Fahrtrichtung durch den linken Ausgang. Das Harnack-Haus befindet sich rechts in ca. 100 m Entfernung.

Barrierefrei
...ab Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten mit dem Bus 110 Richtung Oskar-Helene-Heim bis zur Bitscher Straße. Hier die Straße an der Ampel überqueren. An der Ecke Brümmerstr./Ihnestr. befindet sich das Harnack-Haus.

Mit dem Auto
...auf die A 115, Ausfahrt Hüttenweg Nr. 2, von dort rechts Richtung Dahlem bis Ecke Clayallee, dann rechts, an nächster Kreuzung links in die Saargemünder Straße einbiegen und kurz darauf erreicht man an der Ecke Ihnestraße das Harnack-Haus.

Start at airport BER (30 km)
... take bus FEX to S + U Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Ostkreuz. Then take the S41 "Ringbahn" till Heidelberger Platz. Change here to U3 with direction of Krumme Lanke and leave at Freie Universität (Thielplatz). To exit the station, follow the train’s direction of travel and take the left exit. From there, bear right; you will reach Harnack House after approximately 100 meters.

Start at airport Berlin Schoenefeld (25 km)
...take Bus 171 to Rudow U-Bahn station. Enter the U-Bahn and take the U7 towards Rathaus Spandau. Start at Berlin´s Central Station Hauptbahnhof (15 km)

From Spandau train station (17 km)
...take U-Bahn line U7 towards Rudow and alight at Fehrbelliner Platz. Change onto the U3 towards Krumme Lanke and alight at Freie Universität (Thielplatz). To exit the station, follow the train’s direction of travel and take the left exit. From there, bear right; you will reach Harnack House after approximately 100 meters.

Accessible
...from Zoologischer Garten station, take Bus 110 towards Oskar-Helene-Heim and alight at Bitscher Strasse. Cross the street at the lights. Harnack House is situated on the corner of Brümmerstrasse and Ihnestrasse.

Arrival by car
...when approaching on the A 115, take Hüttenweg No. 2 exit. Then bear right towards Dahlem and continue until you reach the junction with Clayallee. Turn right. At the next junction, turn left into Saargemünder Strasse. Harnack House is on the right shortly after at the corner of Ihnestrasse.

Vom Flughafen BER

Dann Umstieg in S41 bis zur Station S Heidelberg Platz. Von dort in die U-Bahn-Linie U3 in Richtung Krumme Lanke umsteigen und bis zur Station Breitenbachplatz fahren. Von dort erreichen Sie das MPIB zu Fuß in fünf Minuten (siehe Lageplan).

Von Berlin-Hauptbahnhof
S-Bahn-Linie S7 in Richtung Potsdam Hbf oder S9 Richtung Spandau, am S-Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten Umstieg in die U-Bahn-Linie U9 Richtung Rathaus Steglitz. Am U-Bahnhof Spichernstraße erneut umsteigen in die U3 Richtung Krumme Lanke. Fahrt bis zur Station Breitenbachplatz. Von dort erreichen Sie das MPIB zu Fuß in fünf Minuten (siehe Lageplan).

Vom Berlin-Südkreuz
S-Bahn-Linie S41 oder S42 (Ringbahn im Uhrzeigersinn) bis Heidelberger Platz, dort Umstieg in die U-Bahn-Linie U3 in Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Breitenbachplatz. Von dort erreichen Sie das MPIB zu Fuß in fünf Minuten (siehe Lageplan).

Vom Berlin-Spandau
U-Bahn-Linie U7 in Richtung Rudow bis zum Fehrbelliner Platz, dort Umstieg in die U3 in Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Breitenbachplatz. Von dort erreichen Sie das MPIB zu Fuß in fünf Minuten (siehe Lageplan).

Mit dem Auto
Stadtring A100 bis zum Abzweig Schmargendorf (A104). Auf der A104 die Ausfahrt Breitenbachplatz (4) nehmen. Nach wenigen Metern einbiegen in die Lentzeallee (siehe Lageplan).

From BER Airport:
Airport BER Terminal 1-2: Take the FEX, RE7, RB14, RB 22 to S Ostkreuz, from there change to the line S41 and go to S Heidelberg Platz. From there change to the subway (U-Bahn) line U3 going to Krumme Lanke and get off at Breitenbachplatz station. The MPIB is a 5-minute walk from Breitenbachplatz (see map).
Airport BER Terminal 5: Take the line S 45 (direction S Südkreuz) to station S Südkreuz or S9 (direction S Spandau) to station S Treptower Park. From there change to the line S41 and go to the station S Heidelberg Platz. From there change to the subway (U-Bahn) line U3 going to Krumme Lanke and get off at Breitenbachplatz station. From Berlin-Hauptbahnhof (main railway station):
Take the S-Bahn line S7 going to Potsdam Hbf or the line S9 going to Spandau. Get off at the station Zoologischer Garten and change to the subway (U-Bahn) line U9 going to Rathaus Steglitz. At the subway station Spichernstraße get off and change to the subway line U3 going to Krumme Lanke and get off at Breitenbachplatz station. The MPIB is a 5-minute walk from Breitenbachplatz (see map).

From Berlin-Südkreuz station:
Take the commuter train (S-Bahn) line S41 or S42 (the Circle Line in a clockwise direction) until Heidelberger Platz. From there change to the subway (U-Bahn) line U3 going to Krumme Lanke and get off at Breitenbachplatz station.Is a 5-minute walk from there to the MPIB (see map).

From Berlin-Spandau station:
U-Bahn-Linie U7 in Richtung Rudow bis zum Fehrbelliner Platz, dort Umstieg in die U3 in Richtung Krumme Lanke bis zur Station Breitenbachplatz. Von dort erreichen Sie das MPIB zu Fuß in fünf Minuten (siehe Lageplan).

By car
Take the city motorway A100 up to the junction Schmargendorf (A104). Once on the A104, take the exit Breitenbachplatz (4th) and turn right at the first traffic light onto Lentzeallee (see map).
